Spiritual Direction
What is spiritual
direction?
Spiritual Direction is one-to-one conversation with a
spiritual guide, in an atmosphere of trust, leading a person into a deeper
awareness of and appreciation for God’s presence and movement in daily
life. The spiritual direction process helps people who are seeking to live
a more fully human, joy-filled life.

companioning, people make their journey to wholeness:

define Christian spiritual direction as "help given by one Christian to
another which enables that person to pay attention to God’s personal
communication to him or her, to respond to this personally communicating
God, to grow in intimacy with this God, and to live out the consequences

Who are the Spiritual Directors at PRC?
Providence Renewal Centre is pleased to have several
qualified spiritual directors on their roster along with two staff

How much does Spiritual Direction cost?
The fee for spiritual direction is based upon a sliding
scale. A fee schedule is presented at the first session and fees are
negotiable.
Now that you're
interested, what's next?
Once you have read the Spiritual Director profiles, we
invite you to choose up to 3 spiritual directors that you would like to
interview. Their phone numbers will be made available to you in order for
you to arrange an initial meeting. Once you have found the right director
for you, you can then set up your meeting schedule.
Another Spiritual Direction Option: Directed Retreats
You might want to try
a
Private Directed Retreat
for a
short-term experience of Spiritual Direction and a time of silence and
connection with God. Someone coming for a private directed retreat will
choose a few days when they can be away from their "ordinary life" to come
to PRC. We'll set you up with a private suite and connect you with a
spiritual director.
