This Lenten retreat is an opportunity to hear Christ speak to us in the darkness, bringing us into a deeper realization of who we are as resurrected sons and daughters of God. Through a process of using art materials, participants will come to a deeper understanding of their call to remove the stones that block them from hearing Christ and open the way for newness of life. Come explore the world of art and prayer.

Born in 1947, Fr. Garry spent many of his younger years in the Rocky Mountains. He has fulfilled his dream of being an Oblate priest, working in First Nations communities in Alberta. In 2004 he fulfilled another dream when he enrolled in an art therapy class where he learned about art and making art. Since then he has been discovering that it can also be used in the context of prayer.
