Debbie Doornbos is a native Albertan with a Bachelor of Theology degree from Newman Theological College.  She is a professional facilitator and experienced retreat leader with special interest in small faith communities, life transitions, and helping others deepen their spirituality. An avid outdoor enthusiast, she enjoys hiking, canoeing, and walking.  Recently she spent a year in Ottawa where she completed a clinical pastoral education unit at St. Paul’s University.



 
 

Jeannette Filthaut SP is a Sister of Providence of St. Vincent de Paul (Kingston, ON) whose background in education has seen her actively involved in adult spiritual education for many years. Through process facilitation, retreats, and workshops across Canada and beyond, as well as nine years in congregational leadership and ministry at parish, diocesan and national levels, she has engaged a variety of groups seeking spiritual and educational renewal.



 
Patricia Macdonald, B.Ed, M.A., is a trained and experienced adult educator, retreat leader, spiritual director, and process facilitator. Currently she serves as Director of Presence; a 2 year part time formation program for spiritual direction in the Christian Tradition. Patricia brings to her ministry a contemplative spirit. Accompaniment of others through times of light and darkness is seen as stepping stones for growth, healing, and intimacy with God. Patricia is trained and experienced to journey with those seeking to deepen their spirituality and relationship with God through the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises.

Wendee Paul joined our team full-time as Program Assistant in March 2010, after being employed part-time as a Providence Renewal Centre Hostess. Wendee is very proud of her Saskatchewan roots, and  is also very happy to have lived in Edmonton since 1998. Wendee has a degree in French Education, and has worked as a substitute teacher,as a bookseller, and as an editor. Wendee enjoys yoga, reading, languages, travel, cycling, and swimming. She considers herself very fortunate to be part of the Program Department team.
